As an American, I support this sentiment but y’all gotta realize that we’re trying to fight this too. American greed and corruption has always been there, but this is a new level of shameless, out-in-the-open looting of the sovereignty of the American people by foreign interests and oligarchs that are so deeply entrenched in the system that they’ve built here that sound-minded people have no idea how to fight this. Many of us, myself included, are ashamed of this new fascist-leaning regime and my heart goes out to all of y’all affected, but please keep some compassion in your hearts for those of us who still live here and are fighting the bastards from the inside. Also, if you want to annex Vermont, please do. We’d be fine with it.

As an American, I cannot (i can) believe my fellow countrymen were so easily fooled. Never in my life have i felt such shame and hopelessness for my country.
As an Amercian citizen, seeing this makes me so sad. It makes me feel disgusting, and I wish things were different. My current government does not represent the majority, but the elite minority. As a working class person Iam personally terrified about my future in this country where I feel unrepresented and left behind. America feels bought and paid for now.
