Makes sense, school shootings got no impact on teh economy, CEO’s being shot and or scared would be bad for the economy, good ol US of Ass
As part of the ruling class, CEO lives matter more. Children are just potential workers.
Maybe killing CEOs instead of children will make change happen faster.

Murica is in the business of making money… and a considerable amount of that money goes to lawful bribes to politicians.
Of course the government is going to be up in arms when a significant source of their income is threatened. Children, teachers, and plebs in general are not their priority.
But don’t worry… I am sure that by the weekend we won’t hear more about the tragic school shooting in WI… For them, the media, it’s just not as tragic

Not sure the analogy sticks. Yes the resources devoted to finding the killer of a rich person are generally unbalanced compared to “common man victims”, but in the case of the school shooting the perp was dead at the scene, so there was no need for resources in a manhunt. If you’re referring to policy changes such as gun control, have there been any talks of the government making policy changes to prevent the shootings of CEOs that I haven’t heard about?
That depends on the net worth of the people killed. If someone killed a number of people whose net worth was the same as of a CEO, government would likely react. That would be a town worth of people.
