STOPPP. This would have wrecked me had the vet sent these. 😭
Mine passed away two weeks ago from the same, end stage renal failure. I miss her terribly and keep looking for her around the corners. Sending you hugs. 🤍
My friend got the same from the vet for Freddie, her blond lab a few weeks ago. I hope it helps get the rest of the grief out so the happy memories are at the forefront

But, that being said, what a perfect reminder of the love your little one had for you.
I made this for a friend. About three weeks before her beloved pet died, I asked her dog walker if it would be okay. $6 of air dry clay from the craft store. Value to her – priceless.

I did the ink thing on her paw and got the outline tattooed on my arm.
Man, I didn’t need to see this today. I was happy and having a good time
I literally lost it just imagining the vet techs putting the ink on her little nose and mouth. Oh. 🙁

I am so sorry that you lost your dear kitty. My previous kitty had to be euthanized for the same reason. It was the right decision to end her suffering and I was with her to the very end. I sang “Feeling Stronger Every Day” and “Soft Kitty” to her. After she passed, one last “Soft Kitty” and I 😭😭

I was reading this on my phone, lying in bed on my back (like the lazy human I am) with my little black girl kitty, Shadow, on my chest/stomach having her evening snooze. Now I am a puddle of feelings, so I start crying. I give her a little squish. She purrs. So I start ugly crying, and squish her a bit more. She wasn’t happy about either the turbulence from my ugly cries, or the squeeze.
Dear reader, she sneezed directly into my anguished, open mouth, and departed with a look of disdain.

I got one when my boy Finn crossed the rainbow bridge, the card said, “Heaven has a new angel with a tail”. He was a Manx, so he didn’t have a tail. I just started ugly crying and laughing at the same time.
That heartbreak is so raw. But, those little mementos mean the world. Wishing you comfort in your memories 🐾❤️

The paw print caught my attention first, then I saw the kisses one…immediate tears went bursting out of my eyes. My goodness. That is so sweet.

When my cat passed…our vet mailed us some of her ashes mixed in with some seeds for a houseplant and a lovely letter. It was very nice.
