Ahhh this reminds me of when my siblings thought it would be funny to pretend they were kidnapped and bang on the walls and scream inside the van when my mom ran into the gas station to pee. The cop who showed up was not laughing

I drive a school bus. My coworker told me that he had a kid on his bus that made a sign that said “there is a bomb on the bus. Help!”
Dispatch made him pull over and wait for the police. IDK if bomb squad came or not.
He said this was about a year after 9/11

When my sister and I were 8 and 7, respectively, we were playing outside. We decided to go along the road, walking, with our thumbs out like hitch hikers. We saw it in a movie and we were ready for an adventure. Someone that knew our father had stopped his car and asked what we were doing… and told on us. We were in so much trouble.
Also when my sister was 12 and I was 11, I was at my best friends house with her dogs while they were at church. It was an old house, converted from a tornado safety center. It had fire alarms. My sister had come over to talk to me and mid conversation, my sister decided to pull the fire alarm, aimlessly. A fire alarm starting blaring, from still to this day, I dont know where. I scrambled through my friends moms jewerly box for keys I knew she didnt have, before returning down the block, towards my house in defeat. My neighbour who heard the sirens helped me and called the fire department. They came to shut it off but their key didnt work because they needed an “old” key and had to go back to get it. By the time they came back, lectured us on fire safety, and shut off the alarm, my friends parents and she, returned. None of our parents ever found out. I told my friend, that day.

One time when I was like 10, a friend and myself decided it would be fun to make a band called “The Nazi Killers” and make flyers, placing them in every mail box in our street.
We intended it to mean, like, we were *killing* nazis, but that’s not how our neighbors interpreted it…
Hahaha when I was younger but still old enough to know better I called the cops and hung up because my sister was in the backyard with her friends and I felt like they were taking up my time with her 😂
I remember when I was a kid i’ll take our house phone and call 911 and hang up real quick well one day a friend came over and I told him I always call 911 and hang up on them quick he said they don’t show up on the door ? I said nah we debated it and I called them but this time I waited a extra sec the first ring I heard then hanged up at that moment I felt I fuked up and remember 5 minutes later cops showed up lol

This reminds me when there was a “trend” on Facebook when you had to post a big text saying that you had a terminal illness just to end it with something like “if you liked this post it’s because you care about me”, so many family members freaked out because of it lol

When I was in like 2nd grade I wrote “you’re all gonna bie” (backwards D as I was a 2nd grader) on a piece of paper and just kinda tossed it towards some kids a couple hours later I completely forget it even happened then I’m getting my backpack searched and they color matched my marker to the paper 😂 didn’t realize how big of a deal this could be lmao
They called the cops, cops shot the parents, home invaders escaped.
