Yep! I turn off the fan when it gets cold, but the silence kinda creeps me out, and it ends up making me sweat, so I turn on the fan again and cover myself with blanket.
I can’t sleep without the sound of a fan. It somewhat overpowers the noise of my neighbour. And in the winter, i just point the fan away from me. I even have a backup fan for when my current one inevitably breaks.
Prefer opening a window instead.

I just embrace the heat and now in november I want all fans stay as far as posible from me… and for noice I usually turn the radio on…
Turning fan off is actually better in some places. Me for example, will get dry throat and numerous other negative effects when I wake up.

I wish I could sleep with the fan on, but mine is on the same switch as my lights. So I either have no fan or I also have lights.
I got addicted to the WHITE NOISE of the standing fan that I turned it away and put a a chair between it and me sitting in the coldest winters. Warm blanket + little air reflected – > Heaven
Amazon Music SleepJar has a box fan one hour loop that’s free. I listen to it every night on a Alexa command that starts it playing and also turns on a smart plug to a smaller fan aimed right at me. Just hit 5000 hours the other day, and got a message from Alexa about it.

I also always have the fan on when sleeping. HOWEVER, I sometimes stay at my boyfriend’s and have found that his white noise machine has the same effect without the ventilation, so I know it’s possible to go without it.
