If you think that’s messed up, their are sub 18 year olds who are working and getting taxed, but can’t vote. What happened to no taxation without reputation?

I’m calling it now. When we do get tax-free overtime, it will be paired with a law change where employers won’t have to pay time and a half anymore. This administration doesn’t give anything to the regular Joe without giving the oligarchs a better deal in exchange.

He hasn’t gotten most of his nominees in so I would just say give it time.its only been a month and he’s already done a lot so more and better is soon to come

Less irresponsible and shady government spending = less money for us to fork over in taxes to cover for our government. Take W’s where we can get them and see where it goes. He’s been in office for a month lol. He’s fighting everyone to make these changes. Including everyone on Reddit apparently. If you want the changes he promised to give us then stop trying to fight him tooth and nail and let him do those things.

You’re overtime isn’t going to be taxed because they’re going to remove overtime laws.

Give them enough time to manufacture consent, and you better believe that in ten years you’ll be working 14 hour shifts without overtime 6 days a week without benefits at wages with less buying power than current.

That is the end point of all conservative ideology, and that is why liberals need to abandon capitalism – because capitalism is conservative.
