I was born and grew up in the UK and moved to another country in my 40s towards the end of the 1990s. Some time after I left, American hash browns got incorporated into an English Breakfast. Iād never even heard of them when I lived in the UK and not once were they offered to me as a breakfast item. Canned baked beans were unknown in the UK until the US company, Heinz, built a factory there in the early 20th century. It seems American influence is invading the Full English one item at a time.
