Honestly I think borders are dumb we need the old thing like the old times where only city’s were territory and all could come and go as they pleased.
Edit for yall whom have brains the size of peas and keep insulting I put this here for people to discuss 1 why this wouldn’t work 2 ways to make it work 3 reasons it can’t work Orland or why it would be bad and 4 to discuss but cam in rude as hell to those whom asked questions or posted reasons thank you for being civilized

My ancestors were immigrants, just like the ancestors of American Indians were immigrants. People who live where they were born are not immigrants. We can debate the rights and wrongs of history but let’s not redefine words.

American Indian’s ancestors were also immigrants from the land bridge if you are excluding anyone who wasn’t originally from this place ancestrally. In fact, we would all be immigrants on land by this definition. We could use the more reasonable definition that is based on where you are born. Alternatively, how about we all stop giving a shit

My ancestors were immigrants. I am not an immigrant.
Also, humans migrated to the Americas, therefore everyone in the the Americas is either an immigrant or a descendant of immigrants.
If someone’s ancestors going back 400+ years is still an immigrant, then the word is essentially meaningless. The Native Americans also immigrated here, just 30,000 years earlier.
You don’t need to argue that everyone is an immigrant in order to support treating immigrants with dignity and respect.

Remember, if you do not know what a word means, a dictionary can be quite useful. Here is [Merriam-Webster’s definition of the word “immigrant”](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/immigrant#:~:text=%3A%20one%20that%20immigrates%3A%20such%20as,where%20it%20was%20previously%20unknown) .
