Allegedly Xyz actor is accused of sexual harassment, minor abuse, money laundering and using illegal drugs, but these are just rumors as of now. Let’s head to next news that…..

“Allegedly” keeping the NEWS industry alive worldwide

To add context: in America, it’s innocent until proven guilty. Allegations are not considered proof.

The alleged allegations are allegedly true.

That one word saving PR teams, lawyers, and celebrities since the dawn of scandals.

Do you think media just put those sometimes even though they were certain, just to make sure they really wont get sued?

This meme perfectly encapsulates modern news. Sensationalism, legal threats, and the ubiquitous “allegedly.

Don’t forget the magic word

Media, Lawsuit, ‘Allegedly’… the trifecta of modern news.

The only thing missing is a dramatic zoom on the word “allegedly.

Must have been a sick ostrich.

Every time I hear that word, I just think of squirrelly Dan.

Sonny Hostin forgot to say “allegedly” on The View and instead said “the fact” when talking about Matt Gaetz rumors, and ABC lawyers made her read a statement to avoid getting sued. It was hilarious.

Diddy definitely did all those heinous things.. don’t give me that allegedly bs

“allegedly”, “[x] says”, and “according to [X]” the three magical words so media can keep making clickbait-y articles and getting a rise out of you when what they reported is not as bad or even bad at all as to what the headline says

They have to say that until the person is convicted in court or they might get sued.

The Court of Public Opinion

*GUILTY*

The Ginger fucked an ostrich?

I saw a news article the other day, video included, and one of the first sentences that popped up was that one man ‘allegedly’ assaulted another.

But the thing is, in the very video that was posted, you can actively see the man assault the a referee at a kid’s game (who stopped the kid from doing an illegal move). There was no allegedly about it.

Shouldn’t “media” and “lawsuit” by switched here?

Haha CNN riyal
