I grew up with playstation but when I ascended to PC I came to term with how god Xbox controllers are
I prefer Xbox style
Dualsensor features such as the touch pad and Haptic feedback with the Xbox shell and layout. Throw in hall effect sticks and you have a perfect entry controller.
I have both, prefer xbox.
replaceable batteries are great, it just works in windows, pretty much everything supports it,
*<some random controller producing company>*’s controller for 12$.
PS5, it feels more comfortable for me.

I use a PlayStation controller with my PC. Works for me cuz that’s what I’m used to
I’ve got big hands so the Xbox is more comfortable
Xbox but the Playstation controller has come a long way.
I like some of the PS5 controller quirks and features nice, but I find the Xbox controller much more comfortable on the hands and at the end of the day, that’s the single most important thing in a controller, being comfortable to hold.
So Xbox.
I would like to say though PS5 adaptativo triggers are a really cool feature and I think it’a very cheap from Xbox that the elite controller wich is 100$+ for even the cheapest core version, doesn’t at least gets something like that.

i think the xbox controller is comfier and they layout more versatile but the ps5 controller has so much more going on esp w the triggers

The PS4 and PS5 controllers are objectively better hardware. Whether you think the Xbox controller is more comfortable or not, it is inferior

Prefer the Xbox style but don’t use one. I’ve been using the 8bitdo Ultimate it’s perfect
Dualsense. Gyro, haptic feedback and adaptive trigger for PC games that do support them. Meanwhile, Xbox Series controllers are just a bad deal for the same price.
PS: also the symmetrical analog layout is just better, having used both.
IMO:
For ergonomics and technology, the PS one.
For better compatibility with PC, the Xbox one.
Edit: my thumbs naturally rest down, where the PS controller joysticks are. I have small hands. Also, I use an Xbox controller since I play on PC lol
Mouse and keyboard
I prefer xbox.

They are both perfectly fine.
Playstation, it has gyro functionality for when you don’t feel like playing shooter games with a mouse
Xbox *style* controllers have always felt better in my hand, though I prefer Playstation style ones for fighting games.

From a technological standpoint the Dualsense is just better, but from an ergonomic perspective the Xbox controller is better. I use both depending on the game.
Well… Xbox, because
A: Used it back when i was young (Xbox360 controller days)
B: I own Xbox Series controller
C: Plug and play on Xbox controller with any windows (Well that i use) is absolutely amazing
