We have become disillusioned by the amount of choice we have for entertainment in modern society.

That needs to roll back to the 70s. I had 40 channels of cable in 1981.

I been around for both free movies were better than paid ones now, we had nintendo hooked up too, and we had to press back and forth real fast to see the stuff that makes mom’s blush in static moments. You caught just enough to cover a moment of wow 😅😅😅

We’ve moved past progress and are in the enshittification phase and/or too many people trying to get their piece of the pie. In some ways, I think this is worse than what we had 20 years ago. Flipping through channels was easier than having to Google what streaming service what I want to watch is on, and then boot it up, and then have my smart TV freeze and have to unplug it and plug it back in

Netflix needs a random button for a show. I want to watch family guy but don’t want to pick an episode. Better yet let me add shows to a list then random from that list.
