They don’t like your song, and when you repeat it it’s a nightmare.
Nowadays the radio is just a glorified shuffle button with commercials – except that the shuffle only has 5 tracks and one of them is guaranteed to be ‘Despacito’

I enjoy finding a new song and then spending the next 2 weeks listening to only that. I’m strange and it doesn’t bother me listening to the same song over and over.
You can see that everywhere. If you do something they criticize you, but if they do it themselves, it’s fine.

Eh. Most radio stations have always been that way. Especially if you listened to pop or hip-hop stations from like the 80s up through the 2000s. A lot of those stations would only ever rotate through the current “Top 10″or “Top 20” songs.
Rock stations weren’t quite as repetitive generally, but you would still hear the same songs several times over if you left the station on all day.
I don’t know if I’m just getting old or if music really is getting worse as the years go by. Considering I’m 23 years old, and I’ve felt like what qualifies as “music” has degraded in standards for at least the past six years, it’s probably the latter.
