They’re based on the effort you put in, so if you’re a professional company that can prove receipts of how much you spent to find this guy you’re gonna get a bigger reward, but if you’re some amateur who bumped into him on the street, you get like five bucks if that. In fact, you get no reward whatsoever if your help is deemed unhelpful. Like for example, bringing the cops evidence is considered a type of contamination. They can’t trust what they themselves didn’t find. If you watch those scam baiter videos they detail that kind of stuff pretty well.
