I hate when warning movies turn into documentaries.
I 100% believe that if it was found that an asteroid was going to be hitting the earth soon, that film would turn out to be pretty accurate.

I just rewatched this the other day and cried.
I didn’t just cry at the sad parts that warrant the tears.
I cried because this was the exact way the country I fought for is. Down to the last T.
I gave my body and mind for this.
Don’t forget that this movie was hated and wilfully ignored by many mainstream media/news companies because it showed their exact operation modes on hiding truth and downplaying severity of issues from public.
A meteor would be so much better than what we have coming
Change my opinion: This movie and Civil War (2024) were intentionally put out there to normalize/prepare us because the powers that be fully believe it’s coming/intend to make it happen.

“Fuck you” to all the people complaining about this movie being too direct with its message. It’s spot on and people needed to be beaten over the head with it. And they still didn’t pick it up. Just proves how hopeless humanity is when it comes to collective action.

Even in the movie the people were paying attention.
There’s even an asteroid coming. Maybe Musk will drain NASA’s budget to the point where no one notices that it’s actually a planet-killer, leaving only his genius to save ~~us~~ the precious minerals on it with his SpaceX beads.
The meteor is a metaphor for climate change. So when thinking about it that way it is scary how accurate it is.
