That burned in very well, you were really lucky OP that nothing worse happened
It sucks that it happened, but you were actually quite lucky to have done something about this before your kitchen caught on fire from a failed oven.
This may not look like it on the surface, but this was a win considering the alternative.
Incredible luck that it didn’t burn the place down. This is a godsend honestly, you’ve been dodging bullets every time you roast something!

Not all wood is rated to hold an oven. Someone didn’t know what they were doing. You are very lucky and smart for finding the smell.

Genuinely glad you pulled the oven out. Hopefully this is a lesson that things that get HOT should not be set on wood. I’m actually shocked someone thought that was a good idea
well glad it wasn’t worse! Our coffee maker at work did this to the kitchen counter below it, wasn’t even that old.
