The flu vaccine has to be updated every year to try to manage emergent strains.
This is routine but essential.

2019 we had 1,274 cases which was the highest year since 2000.
Since 2015 until now (2016+) we have had 2,481 cases.
2025 being at 93 so far.
2024 was 285.
Edit: Can you guys stop commenting and dming me that it was eradicated in 2000?It never was eradicated. There hasn’t been a single year since they started documenting in 1985 according to the CDC’s website.
