This bumper sticker reminds me of a recent incident in Flagstaff, Arizona involving an ignorant bigot posting a video on TikTok accusing a group of Native American children on a field trip as being illegal immigrants and speaking a foreign language. The “foreign” language was Navajo. Now their school is getting threats.

The thing that matters – the fundamental difference – is that NOW, we have a much more developed, much better understanding of right and wrong.
And we know what we did wrong. And we know what could be done to at least part repair the bad stuff.
But we don’t, because we are selfish and arrogant.
We.used to shoot ‘injuns’ for fun, and because we wanted their land.
Now we do the same to raccoons and other animals.
We think we are a developed species, and yet we are not.
And a powerful point at that.
I like it.
I don’t see how anyone finds any aspect of that idea compelling or interesting.

I like this because it cuts through any bullshit. The reason why the reds are so hell bent on getting rid of immigration? They want to exercise their power, and flick the “bugs” off of their coat.
That’s it. There’s no actual, legitimate economic or moral reason that isn’t any more important than a million other problems we have; the bottom line is, we’re just stupid fucking animals who like to fight.

This is exactly why this entire “Illegals” argument falls flat. Because everyone is illegal on stolen land. But leave it to the descendants of colonizers to puff up their chests and lecture everyone about coming here illegally.
