I am not a fan of Elon or Tesla, but correct me if I am wrong, havent Tesla’s consistenly received the best crash ratings via the IIHS? I just did a brief google search and tesla did not pop up on any list that I peeked at.
Just a curious car nerd here.

A very wise person once said:
If self driving cars cut 12k annual fatalities by half, they won’t get 6k thank you notes. They will get 6k lawsuits.
Here we see the same principle in action.
Edit : ok so actually this comment is incorrect. Looks like Teslas have higher rates of fatalities per billion miles driven (5.8) compared to the industry average of 2.8. Not removing the comment becuz this should be seen.
*(Still like Tesla though)*

Further proof of what I told my wife last week in question where we were going for spring break: Iโm not getting on anyoneโs plane – or train or boat – in the foreseeable future. If I canโt drive to it, itโs a no from me.

Well, at least itโs going to be efficient and generate a lot of shareholder value in the short term. So we got that going for usโฆ.

Yeaaaahhh guess who won’t be flying anywhere anytime soon. This guy.
With how expensive that shit is, plus Musk pulling the strings, I’d rather drive it. Airports suck anyway.

Personally, I don’t care for or trust shit Musk does. The guy is overrated at best. Genius? Hardly. Book smart? Probably. His engineers make him look smarter than what he really is.

And thatโs leaving out the fact that the guy in charge only has the position because his qualification is that he was on road rules.
