I voted for the communist candidate in my 6th grade Scholastic election simulation. Sounded great to me. Everyone taken care of, no poverty etc. (I know, I was in 6th grade). My teacher had his student pet counting the ballots when all the sudden she got a weird look on her face and handed the ballot to the teacher. He looked at it, scowled, and ripped it in half and threw it in the trash.
