AB+ is a double edged sword. On one hand, you can never run out of acceptable blood. On the other hand, you are the most heart disease prone person due to your blood type.
That means AB+ is basically useless for donating
I am O+, but because of my weak Rh+ group I can only be prescribed with O- blood. I can still donate my blood as O+ and I have done so 3 times before, next week I got another appointment.
