I’ll be that guy. The planet picture takes days or weeks to gather enough light to capture the image from a 10 billion dollar camera. A standard bank camera is 100 bucks and gives you an image immediately.

The space pictures are long exposure composite images that take sometimes months to fully render. The bank security footage needs to run constantly, and record what they see, so unless a bank has the largest data server for just security footage it wouldn’t be feasible to record full HD video.
Yeah, those CCTV cams leave a lot to be desired.
