This has been happening for quite some time now. And Youtube has done literally nothing because I’ve seen the same one showing up.
But if a YouTuber says or plays something that they don’t like? Straight to the shadow realm they go. Just like Vanoss new “subterranauts” video that got flagged 3 times.
Inaccurate, the NSFW ads can never be skipped.
Good for you, I see child grooming ads for some reason, I really hate google.

Mostly fake game ads with porn or whatever, quite annoying

Haven’t seen a YouTube ad in years between vanced, revanced, and smart tube. The hell is happening over there?
Here’s how I’ve been watching yt for a year on mobile with no ads:
I did as much as I could to remove the YT app.
I downloaded Brave browser.
I went to the YT mobile page in the browser and bookmarked it, saving it to my homepage where the YT app used to live.
I logged into my YT account.
Now I watch YT and even minimize it to my phone’s background while I do other things, and I’ve never seen an ad.
Just your friendly reminder that YouTube does not have any add moderation whatsoever. They will let anything on the platform if you pay them enough.
Shit is 10x worse on facebook too.
Literally hard-core porn videos as ads. I report every single one i see and always get the verdict from Facebook

There is a simple solution to get rid of ads (at the cost of making GUI worse on your phone at least)
Step 1: Install Firefox
Step 2: Install UBlock origin extension
Step 3: Go to the youtube.com website on Firefox
Step 4: Create a Firefox website shortcut on your desktop
Step 5: Profit (YouTube with no ads)

I constantly get ads for a shitty zombie game, where a woman with big tits farts during yoga and turns her instructor into a zombie. What the fuck.
My ads just tell me to drink and gamble heavily.

I’ve actually some luck with the adsense reporting though. Thumbs downing the ad as uninteresting seems to be the most effective.
In the ad center you can also turn off topics. Turning off dating and anime helped. I somehow turned off ads targeting based on being male, which helped.
None of it is perfect, but they do seem to try and respect it.
Yt ads: can be literally anything anywhere and still be fine

I see trimmer ad every other day with a shot that if shot a mm lower would literally be a full-screen dick
I just get the subversive mobile game adds that try to fuck with your ego and self worth.
If YouTube makes one more unnecessary change, it needs to change it’s name from YouTube to FuckYou.

I have been blocking ads on YouTube for years now, I refuse to give them money after how they failed to deal with the SSSniperwolf situation.
Had this happen in a class, the instructor pulled up a YouTube video on like Scaffolding or something and the ad was literally some lady just deepthroating a banana.
And this was the auditorium computer that just sits there it’s not like one someone uses at home.
It’s funny you get more appropriate and few ads on a porn site than you do on YouTube
