Strange how Christians want to put their religion on everybody.

Also, Finland and Denmark are consistently ranked as the happiest countries in the world, and less than a quarter of the population in either country even believes in god. They also have much lower violent crimes rates and homelessness than the US.
It’s almost like belief in god in general or Christianity in particular isn’t positively correlated with the wellbeing of a country.

Don’t you worry. The only concern christians have is getting into heaven. You don’t need to be a good person to get into heaven. You just have to say you believe in Jesus.

A vast majority of Japanese aren’t even Christian and they follow the Bible better than most Christians in the US!
Jesus would absolutely be rolling his eyes, along with every single one of his disciples.

I do think it’s a bit facetious to compare food security when you compare the area supply chains have to cover between the two. Not disagreeing with the overall point tho

Christianity is an imperial religion which seeks command and control of communities and families in a top down, extraction based hierarchy.
The Catholics did it with Rome and the American Protestants did it with the Southern Plantations and now they’re doing it again with cultural-isms which keep poor people poor!
I’ll get off of my podium.
I believe there are truly good individual religious people in the world.
All the institutions?
Those are rotten to the core.

The three Abrahamic faiths were born out of resentment towards Rome and its pantheon. They took ancient hebrew folktales and twisted them into a propaganda machine designed to manipulate the poorer classes against the ruling class. If you read the old testament you’ll see a lot of anti-Roman propaganda peppered throughout it. Judaism, Christianity and Islam don’t stand for anything, they only stand against things. They are always looking for enemies to be hostile towards, other groups of people they consider sinful, other religions they consider heretical, other cultures they consider beneath them. Its always in opposition towards something or someone. These religions were never designed to aid people, they were born out of anger and hostility. Thats why ultimately every country that holds fervently to either of these religions descends into violence and suffering, because lacking a clear external threat, they will turn on each other. These aren’t benevolent faiths designed to enrich people’s personal lives. They were designed as tools to be used as weapons against whatever threat they perceive, a regressive firebomb meant to shatter societies and tear them down. Basically, these religions are ticking time bombs, its in their nature to be regressive and hostile because that is what they were designed to do.

Huh, if Japan is so much better than America, then why is Japan’s suicide rate almost double that of America’s? 25.7 per 100k to America’s 14.0 per 100k.
Edit: also, a large part of why the homelessness is so low, is because it is so difficult and socially unacceptable to be homeless. There are barriers and anti homeless architecture all over japans major cities, and much of what entails being homeless is actually illegal. Begging is illegal and would land someone in jail, drug use is severely punished and carries long prison sentences, people determined to be mentally ill are put in asylums, etc. so all those institutionalized are counted as housed. The rest of the prospective homeless population either will live with some family member in shame or will simply commit sewerslide. Many other homeless people will have a job and list a family member’s address as their own to avoid ostracism and after hours hide outside the city or in the less visible parts of the city. The low homeless rate is simply a manufactured statistic by a largely concerted effort to remove those people from the population altogether.
