I don’t understand how an insurance company can just decide medical interventions which are 100% necessary can just not be covered because fuck you. How is this even legal?

So we pressure the surgeons to rush; bad. If they don’t rush, you have to pay and exhortative fee; bad. Either way the patient is put at greater risk! That shouldn’t be legal, but I’m sure that it is 🤬

Time to class action insurance companies practicing medicine without a license. For law if a company suddenly decided to dictate what arguments can be used by their client in a court while not being lawyers they would get fined heavily, but insurance companies can practice medicine all day long?

I had a pre approved endoscopic surgery (covered by Aetna) that ran into complications and surgeon had to make a decision to perform open surgery to finish the process. Aetna refused to cover any of it because they don’t cover open surgery. Over 100k when the bills came in.

We need to start protesting harder against these fuck sticks. They will suck us dry for every dime we have while literally doing nothing. Turns out, it’s the most profitable thing ever to pay them for coverage and then they pay out………….nothing. This is killing people. Every single day. This is not the way a healthy society should live. It is literally the executive capitalist class tightening the rope and pushing down the boot harder, harder, and harder. This cannot be allowed to continue. They work for us, not the other way around.
