Smell is not the least important. In fact smell has a strong influence in remembering things. You remember smells better than things you see
Smell is the least important sense, at least until you can’t smell a gas leak.

As someone who lost most of his sense of smell, I can tell you it sucks. It also effects your taste so food isn’t as enjoyable.
My son can’t smell well, I on the other hand have a pumped up sense of smell and it’s definitely got its downsides.
Smell is something like 80% of the taste experience

In my opinion, the least important sense of the 5 is taste , where there’s only a handful of times where it’s actually useful. If you know what food is good to eat or not then it’s not required for survival.
I’m honestly so glad I have the piss poor sense of smell bc having a good sense of smell + cptsd would be terrible

The simple answer: Deodorant. Then you won’t smell.
