Presumably there’s a limit to the number of women a guy can rape, governments he can try to overthrow, nuclear secrets a guy can steal, and felonies a guy can commit, and not get elected President but we now know the number for all of those things is no longer zero.
The media deserves some credit for Cheeto Jesus win.

I genuinely do not think it mattered what Harris did or how perfect of a campaign she ran. Obviously it’s been mentioned before but search terms for “what’s a tariff” skyrocketed as well as people googling who was even running. This was set in stone from the start, four years of entirely right-wing driven propaganda and extremism had this going no other way and it’s amazing to see how many people even supposedly on the left are buying into it and blaming Kamala. Stupid people came out in force, stupid people swung the vote entirely on feelings with no idea what they were voting for, stupid people are dragging us all to hell whether we like it or not.
It is beyond twisted how politics now seems to exist purely for performative campaigns than actually service to the nation and its people, while true civil servants are getting sidelined and scoffed at for their attempts to actually wanting to make positive changes. It is high time we completely reform how an election should be held, so we’d get fewer histrionic court jesters and more qualified practitioners.

We assumed that given a choice between a plate of vegetables and a pile of shit for dinner people would pick vegetable cause that makes sense, even if you don’t like vegetables. Instead people picked the pile of shit because they saw a tiktok saying asparagus makes your pee smell funny and they hoped that maybe there was other food in the pile of shit.
Now the media is trying to say that we should have been more selective of what vegetables we put on the plate. Meanwhile the other side is planning on how to make the pile of shit even bigger.

Lets break down and criticize the campaign. No fuck yourself. Lets figure out the looming trickle down overlord poopy pants over here that has managed to crack the whip to put in line all of the most selfish and brazen liers and cheats to effectively extract wealth and eliminate comforts of the same have-nots that voted for him.
Okay, let’s just imagine a fictional election for a minute, completely detached from real politics where you have parties A and B. Party A is lying, defaming the opposition, and disrespecting democratic institutions. Party B is trying its best not to succumb to the lies and attempts to run a straightforward campaign. Party A wins, and a random Reddit user comes along and says we shouldn’t ask ourselves what the heck was going on with the voters but where Party B went wrong.
I highly doubt “wokeandwoofing” believes CNN is “real news” so why would they believe a CNN “think piece” on Kamala’s campaign would have any substantial lessons.

Harris clearly outlined her policies. She campaigned in all the right places. Held a lot of events. And had a huge outreach program.
Trump sat at Mar a Lago and called her names while saying he had concepts of a plan.
There’s only so much you can do. But at some point you have to ask why didn’t people show up and vote for the things they said they care about.
We learned that Americans are dumb as bricks.
She was a black woman, running against a man who appeals to the worst in everyone. That’s where the campaign went wrong.
Haris shouldn’t have needed a campaign. Any competent populace would have voted for her based on Trump’s campaign and history.
What we’ve learned:
A lot of American voters would rather have a thieving, rapist, traitor run our country into the ground rather than vote for a black woman.

European here, if Harris ran in my country i would never vote for her. But then again, she wouldn’t have run against a known rapist, who tried to overthrow my government, is convicted of 30-whatever amount of felons and who is also confirmed to have moved state and nuclear secrets to a vacation home. If my country had someone like him and i could only choose between him or Harris, i would probably march alongside the official Harris fan club.
I still cannot grasp how Americans would rather vote for someone who is/did all of the above mentioned things instead of ***literally anyone else.***
