We moved to the south 6 years ago, we live in a larger “city.” There are no gynecologists, at all. There are barely any GPs.

Every single red state has abortion rights still, only one has an extreme take on abortion rights. There’s also a blue state that has an extreme take on abortion rights. One doesn’t allow women to get an abortion in the case of rape or murder at all, and only allows it for the mothers health issues. The other allows the dismemberment and barbaric extraction of a third-trimester baby. All of this back and forth nonsense about who is more right is horseshit. Both extremes are terrible, which is why we need abortion laws.
Not everyone in a red state is that ignorant. Thats s stereotype. Actually many southern cities within red states vote primarily blue. It’s more an urban vs rural issue. There is also more poverty in red states so to insult them all is kind of classist.
