Totally thought it was till I read the title lol
Never have I wished I had some extra money.
I was too poor to get my son elf on a shelf. But 5below had a Mr. Bean bendy toy. So I bought that and for several years, Mr. Bean was our elf. Eventually, Cheese was added (an actual creepy elf on the shelf) and they are yearly participants in our festivities. My son still prefers Mr. Bean, tho the cat prefers Cheese.
To be fair: most old people look like Mr. Bean…
