I’m not saying rape shouldn’t be a disqualification but I think a bigger one should be that he has 0 skills and experience with a job of this type, let alone this caliber. 99% of the military has more experience and skills than him. You could literally pick any rando service member and they would likely be a better choice.

But that’s not why he’s really scary. He’s scary because he’s a test of the senators. Trump knows he’s incompetent and that’s why he picked him. If Trump can get the senate to approve a highly incompetent person with tons of baggage, he’s likely going to be able to pass some of his more controversial legislation. He might even be able to go full fascist and start his dream of retribution on his ‘enemies’.

On the right are two people whose decisions affect no one else other than themselves. And on the left is a man whose decisions directly affect the children he rapes.

Can you imagine having zero idea who Rachel Levine is and just posting picture of her as if anyone supporting her is and? Like seriously. Forget the trans stuff. Guy on the left would be court martialed for adultery if he was serving in the branch he wants to lead. He drapes himself in the flag and shields himself with Jesus while belligerently advocating false machismo on Fox News.

He does not have the character integrity for Secretary of Defense and no comparative picture framing is going to change that.

I don’t give a shit what my leaders wear, how they do their hair, nails, who they love, or with what gender they identify.

I worry more about their competency in the job. While admittedly, I have not looked into those on the right side specifically, I can only imagine that they are at least competent. I’ve only heard of them in passing when Republicans in Congress mention one of them to insult them so apparently they aren’t complete dipshits or they would be on the news.

The man on the right is a bigot, a fucking drunk, misogynistic dipshit who can’t keep his dick in his pants. HE is an incompetent pile of human excrement with hate tattoos, a nice hair cut, and a budget for nice suits (again, don’t care how he looks). Oh! He deployed? Well…that one qualification makes him more prepared than someone like me who hasn’t. Respect for his service.

Comparatively speaking, I’ll take the transgendered people who are at least doing a passable job while trying to be happy with themselves over that Fox News drunkard any day.

And please take no offense if you have a problem with alcohol. Alcoholism and problems with addiction affects many in my own family to varying degrees. It’s difficult to try and better yourself when facing that enemy. But fuck…this dude doesn’t even see it as a problem.

Get help if you need it, keep fighting it. I’m so proud of anyone who overcomes their enemy and stays strong. I’m even more proud of those that struggle and stumble but that never give up trying to do better.
