It’s a HUGE safety issue to have a child behind the counter. What happens when she cuts herself or touches something hot?
Also, I have a huge issue with posting someone’s picture, much less someone underage, online like this. This girl has enough challenges without plastering her face online for likes and social approval.

My mom had to do this at school and her job at a movie rental place and a janitor when I was a baby. It wasn’t cool then and it isn’t cool now. She was very ashamed of that, and the people around her made sure she knew.
Well in every other developed country in the world she could just take a vacation day, or a special vacation day for parents for emergency childcare, or just take a day off “sick” and had not to worry about losing the job.
USA sucks so hard regarding social and workers rights, but still there are people managing to celebrate this burning dumpsterfire
The only advantage to having a shitty McJob is that it’s easily replaced. Lost your job at McDonalds I bet there’s a Burger King, a Sonic, or Taco Bell nearby that always needs employees because they treat them as poorly as and pay as little as McDonald’s does.
If she had a village she’d be in school and the rent would be paid for her. School would have daycare for staff and students.
And to make it worse strangers take her photo without consent, only to post it online.
I wouldn’t be calm if some stranger did that to me.
The miracle is supposed to be that the manager didn’t fire her. The bar is that low.
The village failed in this situation if no one could watch the kid and if babysitting costs more than her salary.
