All in my circle who are MAGA are cheering this morning as to how big and brave their leader is and how Colombia backed down. The next 4 years will cause my eyes to be permanently rolled to the back of my head.
Is that really what happened? I was trying to find a timeline of what happened and knew that Colombia did tariffs too but can’t find it anywhere.
For any non-americans here, remind your government that fighting with Trump is like playing chess with a pigeon. He’ll knock over all the pieces, shit on the chess board, then strut around like he’s won.

The biggest losers in this showdown are American taxpayers. It costs 10x as much or more to deport migrants on C-17’s and C-130E’s as opposed to the far more economical DHS charter flights the Biden Admin used.

Military aircraft are simply not designed for fuel efficiency and passenger carriage.

I imagine referring to the people of an entire continent as poisoners of the blood will make them want to sell thier produce to China. That’s what I would do.
Can we get a source on the US sending them on commercial and not on military flights? Everywhere I see they’re still sending them on those flights. I don’t think we need to stoop down to spreading misinformation too.
I legit just saw the headline “Colombia backs down after Trump tariff threats.”
Colombia has accepted deportation flights from the US in the past. In 2024, 124 planes carrying deported migrants from the US landed in the country.
So it was Trump who backed down? Because at least some in the “biased lamestream” media are saying otherwise.
I actually used to play golf with Scott… he was on the campaign bus with Romney and wasn’t a terrible guy…
He was briefly anti Trump, and then I guess the money came in and here we are… I havent seen him around since like 2014, though.
