It looks like the rice was not properly cooled before you rolled it. As a result it congealed into a solid clump.

We make something we call “sushi mess” which is usually just rice, avocado, egg (usually poached but sometimes hard boiled/steamed), wasabi/mayo, soy sauce and furikaki seasoning (from Trader Joe’s). Sometimes I chop up an artificial crab stick. We don’t even bother rolling it up, just put in a pile on a plate.
I think your smiley roll is cute. If you like the ingredients, that’s fine too. People here need to get their panties untwisted.

Have you tried making sushi with pickled daikon? I love it but I have eaten too much of the daikon on its own and making myself sick

That’s very paltry sushi. Also, cook rice a bit less mushy and coat in rice vinegar for more separation between grains while maintaining stickiness.
