I agree.

Capitalism has taken over the gaming industry to the point that the higher up ppl dont even play video games themselves.

I genuinely believe the CEO of Ubisoft has not only never played a video game nor enjoys them but hates gamers most of all.

Or the Blizzard people. The whole scandal of the “boys club” attitude of that office.

At that point, you’re not even in it bc you enjoy games.

You just want a tech bro salary.

hey! so ive been happily employed in the games industry in Australia since 2020 and not one employer or potential employer in an interview has ever asked me this! just general questions like “what kind of games do you like” where on earth would that be a thing that an interviewer would ask?
