My parents are teachers (in South Africa). They were telling me a few months ago they’ve had alotta difficult pronounciations but the one they struggled with most was a kid named Godslove.

Accurate. My name isn’t that hard to pronounce in my opinion but my 10th grade teacher somehow read Bruce on the attendance sheet and when no one was answering I asked if she meant “my name” so she checked the sheet again, laughed, and apologized. It was actually pretty funny. 8 years later and my friends still call me Bruce.

Only one teacher in my whole life got my Name the First time right and its nit even hard you have Just to read it Like its written but seemed Like teachers are Not able to read

I had an American instructor in trade school who would call out everyone’s sequence numbers on the attendance sheet. the names were all arab lol

I’m from Austria and we have a half Chinese guy in our class
He has a Chinese first name but usually goes by his Austrian second name but every Substitute teacher always says his Chinese name when going over the list
