4 children were shot and killed yesterday in Madison Wisconsin and nobody bats an eye. One ceo is shot dead and the government, media and the weathy are turning the country upside down and feeding us propaganda to somehow convince us 1 dead ceo is more important. They open a hotline in New York for “scared” ceos. Where is this action for the scared children of this country? None. The message is clear.
WE DON’T CARE ABOUT THE CITIZENS AND WE NEED TO KEEP CONTROL OF THEM LEST THEY TOPPLE OUR POWER STRUCTURE.
The government, media and wealthy are making a mockery out of the US in front of the entire world.

There’s a reason Occupy Wall Street was infiltrated by crazy people and quietly scrubbed from existence. The rich and powerful do not want people recognising the class war being waged against them. The moment people become conscious of their class and status they realise what fools they’ve been taken for and start to resist.

It’s almost like we have countless flashpoints in world history(and several in American history) to look at how this ends up going for the elites when the population they have systematically immiserated for their own greed ends up boiling over and the whole system gets put in jeoporady.
This isn’t a threat so much as an acknowledgement of basic human social history. That when the pressure of anger and discontent amongst the middle and lower class is continually bottled up and ignored or suppressed, eventually the bottle can’t take anymore pressure and it explodes, and with few exceptions it really leads to what any party wanted.

In the eyes of the ruling class Thompson was doing his job, maximizing profits for his share holders, period. To them there is no altruistic “greater good”. His company decides who lives and who dies. This is the very propaganda rolled out by the insurance companies, pharmaceutical industry and medical industry every time we try to get single payer government medical. Instead we get Brian Thompson.

Really hope everyone keeps up this anti corporate/CEO anger! This is where our anger should be directed at not solely on the politicians that the corporations pay to be scapegoats. They are the reason everything is going to shit!

The rest of the world is watching, and listening. Let’s hope our situation is just as sickening from the outside looking in, because we need the world’s compassion, their echoes, and their anger. Nobody here is powerful enough to stop our homegrown villains from the inside (or so I greatly fear).

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
I can’t think of a scenario where that quote is more applicable. If you’re going to whip out the thought police and punish anyone who protests against corporatized healthcare, sooner or later you’re going to instigate a cultural revolution across the board.
Once they get going, they’re not going to stop at healthcare reform.

They effectively did kill this movement. It used to exist in the USA. It was the labor/civil rights movement. But they nerfed all of it and threw everyone else In jail. Now the movement is small. We are in our rebuilding era. People’s minds should be more focused on building the movement than they are on winning victories tbh. Victory comes later. We have very little power in this country.

Curious to see how bad unions get fucked by the incoming administration.
Corporations paid to put trump in power, and they will absolutely be getting a return on that investment.
