Speaking as a one piece fan, Wano had terrible pacing in the anime. I’m glad the shows gone seasonal because I would literally stop watching for a year at a time to catch up passivley. Trying to feel invested in the countless episodes of stalemate that took over the show was inpossible for me.

As a one piece fan, yeah the pacing of the anime sucks and I don’t blame people unwilling to watch it due to length but I will say the length does have its benefits and does enhance the story in some ways. Pacing and length aren’t necessarily connected. By reading the manga you can read at your own pace and even though it’s over 1000 chapters and ongoing, it’s not nearly as overwhelming.
With such a grand adventure, I think part of what makes it so good is having the time to flesh a lot of little details that make the world feel more immersive. When the story does call back to earlier arcs it’s very satisfying.
Thankfully the eventual one piece remake should help solve the existing pacing issues the current anime has and I highly suggest anyone give it a shot.

I know it’s not “anime” but ATLA I great in this regard: only 60 episodes in 3 seasons with no filler (great divide doesn’t count)

If you like the anime, great. I’m happy you enjoy it, but don’t shit on other people cause they don’t have the time to watch something this long

Ithe longer it goes on the more they stretch it. It was great until timeskip. And then it just drags on. I dropped it on kaido fight cause I couldn’t bear it…. Maybe I’ll give it a go with “one pace” in futureย
They stretched wano arc so much, some arcs are great and some are like this

I literally cannot watch the anime the pacing is absolutely crap. I love the manga though, I get to control the pacing and don’t have to watch out for fillers!

Iโm a huge one piece fan and I agree 100%. I donโt press ppl to watch it. I just tell them how much I like it and tell them theyโd probably love it too

I’ve only ever watched One Pace so I have no clue what you’re talking about. Shits great.
*(I know what you’re thinking, someone brings up one pace every time one piece gets brought up on Reddit, but it’s literally that good.)*

that’s why onepace is creating it cuts everyone unnecessary or redundant… I still don’t watch it but my brother is a huge fan and he only watches their version…

Thankfully they are going to fix the pacing with [The One Piece](https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/The_One_Piece).
