Most times, but not always, if you have a parent with a Narcissistic personality disorder they don’t understand why ridiculing you will hurt your feelings. They have no empathy for anyone, including you.
And then she’s like “Whaaat? I already told them before”
she will even exaggerate the situation
Since I didn’t reveal my secrets anymore, mother started making up nonsense out of the blue.
My favorite ones:
-He’s also a poet and publishes online (wtf?! I was never even into poetry)
-Yes, she was his girlfriend! The cutest couple! (when asked if I ever dated a childhood friend I’ve not even seen in a decade and AFTER I denied it)
“Why don’t you leave your room?”
A horrible betrayal but also a valuable lesson, a secret should be kept by one man and one man only, otherwise it is not a secret but a fact that not everyone might know yet.
