Those three are pretty much heroes in my eyes
Everyone has a choice, nazis had a choice, israelis have a choice. The choice might come at a cost but that is the cost you have to pay. I would rather go to jail as innocent man, than partake in genocide and commit murder, it is sad that so many israelis would happily join the IDF.

Respect for standing up for their beliefs, even when it comes at such a personal cost. It’s not easy to go against the system, especially when it’s so ingrained. I can’t imagine the pressure they must be feeling

The holocaust (the worst crime in human history) would have been prevented if more people acted with the integrity and moral conviction of these heroes. Genocide is only possible if people choose to participate in it. It is our duty to take lessons from history, and the fact that so many israel-supporters of all people, show such contempt for those lessons is astonishing.
Maybe because there are more missiles flying than usual in Israel, but can’t they opt to take some sort of national service to substitute getting drafted into the IDF? I knew an Israeli girl in the early 2010s that did two years for some civil federal agency instead of joining the IDF for two years.
Whaaaaat? That can’t be right cause Israel keeps insisting that *all* of their citizens are united against fighting against Gaza and Palestine. There’s no way that individuals could possibly be *against* occupation!
