As much as i hate him, he didn’t cause the prices to go up, cases of Avian Flu were discovered in multiple supply farms and they all had to be shut down. With all the major egg farms shut down the prices have skyrocketed. But yeah Fk, him!

We know its bird flu. We know that eggs are not a great economic indicator, nor is their price controlled by the president.
The reason this keeps being brought up is because trumpers thought exactly that and kept pointing to the price of eggs as some sort of bidenomics gotcha. Also, because trump specifically promised to bring the price of groceries down within days.
The “look what happened to prices under Biden” and “I miss mean tweets and low prices” crowd is real quick to explain how presidents don’t have a magic price lever now.
