Because the reality is that the vast majority of subreddits don’t rely on Twitter links or content. Banning it is purely performative. *But it’s working*.

They didn’t ban them from Conservative or Reddit as a whole, just subreddits that think Elon Musk is dogshit.
For “free speech absolutists” and advocates of “letting the free market regulate itself,” these snowflakes seem pretty triggered. If Reddit was rendered “unusable” by this, then people won’t use it, right guys? Or, as seems to be the case, Reddit works just fine without links from a Nazi app in subreddits where they aren’t wanted.
r/Conservative is a shit show over there. They celebrate. Then they get angry. It’s a bitching win if you ask me. So I would like to ask them. What happen to supporting free market capitalism, small government, family values, individualism and all that juicy Christian values?
