You guys need to use your noggins a little bit more. Two different events can warrant the same response for two completely different reasons. For example, both being sick and *not* being sick but *possibly getting* sick are both good reasons to have insu─
So for example, hanging a picture and fixing your broken drawer are both goods reasons to buy a screwdriver. One of these guys committed a high-profile, targeted murder *for which he has received overwhelming positive support from the general public, including encouragement to kill more people.* It’s really not such a tremendous leap of logic to suspect that police are anticipating the possibility of someone attacking them in order to free Mangione.

Both made news worldwide, they get the same treatment based on how much publicity they can produce in favor of the authorities.
As a personal note, i still believe this is all a show to cover the possibility of the “murdered” CEO running to some country with no extradition with the money of all his victims while everyone’s eyes are on the “murderer”.
From the cops offering that laughable amount (which wasn’t delivered and made the snitch get fired), the lack of security from someone with history of causing the death of many of the people covered by his insurance company, how the internet praised the hero but inadvertenly helped on his capture with all the “awareness” and the Delay, Defend, Deny words going from being a message to taking the Che Guevara path of becoming another product to be sold and redistributed, most of the implicated are earning some money with all of that.

How crazy is it to want mass shooters tortured? Clearly they don’t fear death/life in prison.

If the NYPD can’t have a dramatic perp walk, why should they even show up for work?
