For those who don’t know, there’s a way to report users you think might be suicidal and reddit will send an automated message with mental health resources linked to the user. While I’m sure the intent was good, it is now used as a coded way for redditors to tell others that they *should* be suicidal, aka, they’re telling them to kill themselves, without getting banned for actually saying it. I’ve gotten several myself and always report them as “sent in error” or whatever it is, but who knows if anything actually gets done about it.
