Micro transactions are what is killing modern gaming. Especially given the prevalence of paid DLC which then contains even more of the bloody things! It used to be that gamers competed against each other on skill, now it’s pay to play and the “winners” tend to be those who can pay most. Sad innit?

If you’re looking for an ARPG i could recommend Path of Exile. It’s free and you could play more than 100 hours without paying anything. However the HUGE downside is that it’s not Noob friendly. But Path of Exile 2 Early Access is starting soon where they made it easier for new Players.
