At this point it is part of posturing and negotiations. Canada and Mexico don’t want tariffs. This move is to bring them to the table and start addressing the drug and illegal immigration problems. Which is long overdue. Every time a politician speaks, you don’t have to take it at face value and wet your pants. It is part of the political game. I doubt these tariffs will happen, but I do think it will help bring Mexico and Canada into the process of solving these problems. In summary, don’t get your knickers in a knot until it happens and you can’t get the crap products you want.
