Trump doesn’t view Vance as his successor because he never intends to leave the office to a successor, and he doesn’t want people working for him who could potentially replace him, he wants people working for him who will do what he says.

Trump throwing JD Vance under the bus this early is hilarious. Dude hasnât even warmed the seat yet, and it’s already drama!

Trump refused IV/GA during his colonoscopy because it would mean that Mike Pence would temporarily have be POTUS while he was under.
This is exactly the LAST type of person you’d want in this position. A corrupt, egomaniacal narcissist who is obsessed with power.
Great job MAGA, this is all on you.

I’m not a trumper but it’s headlines like this that made the term “Fake News” take on so quick.
Its not a misquote. Its not a lie. Its just cherry picked and very out of context. He said “no, he’s good and capable but it’s too early, we are just starting” I wouldn’t know if someone could be my successor if I was in charge of something after 1 months of knowing someone.
It makes people who just take this headline and spout it out look stupid. Please realize the News loves to cherry pick quotes and situations to create division and unrest. Its probably the reason you hate trump and think he’s so terrible. I don’t really like trump for his policies not because of things he has said and supposedly done lol.

No, it’s going to be Musk. Even though he wasn’t born in the USA Trump will find a way to disregard it and like everything else congress won’t do a goddamn thing about it.

âYarvin gave a talk about ârebootingâ the American government at the 2012 BIL Conference. He used it to advocate the acronym âRAGEâ, which he defined as âRetire All Government Employeesâ. He described what he felt were flaws in the accepted âWorld War II mythologyâ, alluding to the idea that Hitlerâs invasions were acts of self-defense. He argued these discrepancies were pushed by Americaâs âruling communistsâ, who invented political correctness as an âextremely elaborate mechanism for persecuting racists and fascistsâ. âIf Americans want to change their government,â he said, âtheyâre going to have to get over their dictator phobia.â
âYarvin has influenced some prominent Silicon Valley investors and Republican politicians, with venture capitalist Peter Thiel described as his âmost important connectionâ. Political strategist Steve Bannon has read and admired his work. Vice President JD Vance has cited Yarvin as an influence. The Director of Policy Planning during Trumpâs second presidency, Michael Anton, has also discussed Yarvinâs ideas. In January 2025, Yarvin attended a Trump inaugural gala in Washington; Politico reported he was âan informal guest of honorâ due to his âoutsize influence over the Trumpian right.â

To be fair I doubt Trump sees anyone as his successor. That man probably believes he’s gonna force himself for more terms.
