Didn’t “unalive” start to become popular on TikTok because content would be removed if it included words like “kill”, “murder” and “homicide”?

Its because popular social media platforms started filtering, censoring, de-monitizing, etc.. for certain keywords related to god knows what. Youtube in particular is just hellbent on creating the most bizarre set of restrictions and loopholes for everybody to jump through from history to science yet only selectively enforces shit anyways.

The song “I am Plottin up a homicide”

Yeah, since Ray William Johnson started using it because the word killing or murdering isn’t good for the algorythm, everybody using it

I think part of what you’re seeing is that “homicide” is a noun, whereas “kill” and “murder” can both also be verbs. So if you say “I’m going to ___ someone” or “that guy just ___ him,” or anything similar, forms of the words “kill” and “murder” both make sense in those blanks, but “homicide” does not.

Murder implies premeditation.

People from TikTok, unalive only works there. We don’t do that here in Reddit.

That person homicided themselves!!!

999’s ‘homicide’ was a pretty solid song.

I mass unalived villagers in minecraft

Miami metro homicide

Pepsi.

r/comedyhomicide

right

I’m kinda surprised the insane censoring even went through. You’d think people wouldn’t conform, but oh well.

I guess we’ll eventually be unable to speak about killing or death in any way.
