Fool should’ve kept one nice-looking VGA cable. Every now and then you remove the excess cables by picking on the ugly short ones and leaving the nice looking long ones for emergencies. It’s like cable eugenics.

Brothers, I no longer have any mini-USB or micro-USB cables. My only remaining data cables of ANY KIND are all USB-A or USB-C. I have nearly achieved enlightenment.

The drawer is a magical artifact that keeps you from needing it’s content. Once you remove an object, the protection is gone for that item.

Worse nightmare? So one could still be the worst?
Just buy the VGA cable when you need it again?
I’m printing off this screencap and sticking it on my cables box. Lest we forget.
This happened to me once, but it wasn’t a VGA Cable, it was a PS/2 connector that I needed for a specific windows installation-
This is why electronics people are such messies.
You don’t need a VGA cable…. Ever. I promise. And when you think you truly do? You’re wrong
