I was that friend.
I remember my math final in my senior year. The teacher said she would curve the grade based off the best score because the test would be really difficult.
I got a perfect score, resulting in no curve. 21/23 of us failed. Everybody still passed though because no child left behind was in full swing, so even the kids that can’t read or do basic algebra must graduate.
Thats basically me, but the difference was that all of my friends studied the shit out of the materials for the Abitur, i wasn’t the best one either the worst one
