We have been censoring them. It blows my mind that any word that would be used in a formal setting (you would hear rape, sexual assault, murder and pedophile in a court room) can be forced to be censored to appease algorithms.

People who censor words are normally the racists and bigots. If you’re using banned words on a platform and you have fear of getting penalized, use another word. It’s not difficult.

Technically “psychopath” has no real standing as a scientific term, as it does not appear in the DSM, the standard manual for psychiatric and personality disorders. The condition ASPD – Antisocial Personality Disorder is meant to cover less rigorous characterisations like psychopathy and sociopathy.

Other words like the “R” word are also scientific terms that get censored. Even though they are still used professionally. Like in aviation. The “R” word is one of the warnings that can scream out in the cockpit.

It’s not always a bad construct, though. Look at the term “g*ping h*le.”

Hate to tell you this but psychopath is not a scientific term. It’s a laymen’s term for an actual scientific term
