here’s the thing the Chinese government itself doesn’t allow TikTok to be used in China to stop them from viewing politically sensitive content by the foreign users instead China uses Douyin
also just to avoid confusion TikTok was banned India for protecting the data of the citizens, but the real reason was because of the military clash between Indian and Chinese troops in disputed territory along their shared border between Ladakh and Western China. they also banned a ton of other Chinese apps
Now if only we could tax those effin pesky billionaires
